People’s Kafe – Stories of Human motions, Endeavors & Inclusion

People’s Kafe – Stories of Human Emotions, Endeavors & Inclusion is my humble attempt to present to you my bank of experiences with people collected over years from workplace, society and home. These thirteen personal narratives will unfold to you my learning from consociating with people, deciphering their motivations and witnessing latent biases in the societal structures. As you sift through these real stories, you may find yourself questioning the accepted norms as I have attempted to unearth a “devil’s advocate” point of view. The stories are simple and relatable. I have tried to explore a wide range of topics, from simplistic ones like human aspirations to more complex ones like the invasion of technology in modern lives. My personal value of inclusion is another theme that runs as a continuum in three of the stories. With every story, my goal is to leave you with a thought-provoking nugget that may help us seek a better future for humankind.

People’s Kafe – A little Slice of life is my bank of memoires, narratives and short stories with quirks and life lessons. This book is outcome of the creativity burst most of us experienced in 2020, the year of lockdown when covid pandemic hit us. It is a logical extension of my first book “People’s Kafe – Stories of Human Emotions, Endeavors & Inclusion” and while that book presented to you an alternate side of workplace and society at large, this book will indulge you with simple life musings.

These twelve narratives will unfold to you my learnings from watching the slow pace of nature unfold, human instinct for connection and individual survival. So this book is largely my perception and interpretation of events from my surroundings at a time humanity was dealing with a global health crisis. I have tried to explore a wide range of themes, nature reflections, longing for romance, desire for familial connection, even fury and envy in some of these narratives. As you go through these light hearted stories, you will find yourself unravelling a small byte of life lesson that will hopefully take you far in steering through the wonderful labyrinth of life.

Wonderfully written to paint the picture of the event in front of the reader and the reader can't keep herself away from becoming the part of the story. The best companion for anyone who like to enjoy your hot chocolate sitting in the patio with book in her hand.

I liked the simple stories, experiences and interpretations of the author from her life incidences that can make you take a pause and think. Readers who like light stories and love to read about human behaviour and experiences would enjoy reading the book. It has set of real life stories that has shaped the author’s life choices and rewired her thoughts to a better human kind and human mind.

An effective writer is able to distil complex thoughts and ideas into simple, clear language that's quickly and easily understood by others. This valuable quality helps them tackle even the densest subject matter by breaking it down into uncomplicated pieces.

The most faithful bond we make is the bond with self. This book gives us all the material (cement, concrete, steel and blueprint) to make lasting bridge with our inner self. With this guided journal we get an opportunity to have a very honest conversation with ourself and when we jot down those pictures in words, we give shape to our imaginations, they become permanent and stay with us forever. Begin your own journey now. You already have my good advice, all you need to get is your own copy of this book😊

I am really enjoying the stories. They are a therapy for me after a really busy day. Reminds me of good old school days where we used to borrow books from the library and read them for the pure joy. Thank you for compiling them 😊

The vivid language instantly transported me into the world she described in this book. A story of the girl from Lucknow to being a Mumbaikar, about her personal life to professional life. The way of describing and writing story is awesome.

Really liked reading your book. Took me back to my old memories of visiting my parent during holidays. Thea beautiful memories of house, courtyard, garden, nature…and those carefree ties with parents. You have an excellent flare for writing. Keep it coming!
